I Interpret

My art and I are coming back to Mumbai this month! Yay!

I’d like to extend a warm invitation to you for the preview of my show ‘I Interpret” in Mumbai, on 19th July 2024, 6PM onwards, curated by the lovely folks at thecurators.art and on view at the Nine Fish Art Gallery.

I Interpret celebrates the art of abstraction and will feature an installation of artworks from my Cosmic Lilies series, alongside abstract works by nineteen other talented artists.

Curator’s Note : ” As we inch towards our 3rd anniversary, it is with great pleasure that we announce our next show “I Interpret” in Mumbai . This is our very first show proudly showcasing only abstract creations, and we are very excited for the same. Abstraction, like poetry, does not dictate a clear narrative but rather, quietly offers a fragment, a piece of a mysteriously familiar narrative. The artist works with a paring down of recognizable natural forms, which give way to a personal abstract vocabulary of shapes, colours and forms. Thus engaging the viewer while still leaving it fluid to interpretation.”
